Night and Day

This is for the Frames Challenge over at Three Muses.

I made the frame in Photoshop, because I didn't feel like dragging a frame outside into the heat to photograph it.

Cappuccino Sea

Does anyone else love coffee as much as I do? I've always had a fascination with sea foam. It was only a matter of time before I made the association with cappuccino foam. Imagine how heavenly a sea of coffee would smell...

Note: I've just submitted this one to the Three Muses Challenge

What better way to spend a hot summer's night than in a sea of mint chocolate chip ice cream?

Pearls of Wisdom

This is for the Ocean challenge at So Artful Challenges.

The beach, pearls, hand, and book are all my own images. I made a moon brush to create the moon.

This is the original photo of the beach:

A Shore Thing

I used a photo of the beach and a picture from Fort Pickens to create this. The hand is mine, of course, and the bubble is a recycled picture of a clear marble. The stars and planet were created in Photoshop. Below is the original photo of the brick arches:

Skyward

This picture started with an old photo I had taken of Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was intended to be something quite different, but once those creative juices started flowing, this is what I wound up with. The constellation in the little window is Orion. I'm not sure what its significance is to the picture, but somehow it begged me to put it there.

I am always using the same photo of a brick wall that caught my eye downtown, and like to play with the bricks. Below is the photo I use over and over again. I find myself drawn to the bricked up window, and always have to take the bricks out to put something inside.
If you scroll through my older images, you'll see this brick wall gets recycled a lot.
